Debra was born on January 11, 1964 to Elnora Pigg and Arthur Don Pigg, in Odessa where she lived her whole life. She had three siblings, Sherri Farris, Arthur Don Stephens, and Allen Pigg. Debra was raised closely with her cousins. She considered Brenda Stephens, Martha Stephens, and Dorothy Toney her sisters.
Debra graduated from Ector High School and later obtained her CDL. She was married to Dennis Haynes and they were together for 22 years. Debra had four children, Calandra Stephens, Jamarr Stephens, LaVar Stephens, and Jaharri Ellis. She helped raise her nephew, Skybreon Pigg and had 15 grandchildren.
Debra was kindhearted, sweet-spirited and would give you her last. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed tremendously.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; sister, Sherri, and grandson, Zhamorionne Shorter.
Debra is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
