She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. (Bill) Latham; son, Stacey Latham; parents, Jesse Thomas Dunn & Ethel Mae (Deaton) Dunn; one brother, Doyle; and one sister, Jessie.
Connie is survived by one brother, Billy Dunn; her daughter and son-in-law Debra & Daniel Chesshir; five grandchildren and their spouses: Brittany and her husband Nathan, Holly and her husband Nic, Neil and his wife Katie, Dustin and his wife Sandra, and Kriston and her husband Jon; and 11 great-grandchildren.
When she was young one of her first jobs was a carhop, but most of her career she spent as an optician. She enjoyed playing piano, sewing and making needlepoint pillows. She was good at embroidery, and enjoyed playing games and doing miscellaneous crafts. When her children were young, she was always volunteering to help with school parties and carnivals and she lead her son’s Cub Scout group.
In later years, when her children were grown and she retired, she and her husband W.C spent a lot of time at their lake house, making memories with their kids and grandkids. She enjoyed going to church and visiting with her friends. She especially enjoyed her Sunday school class led by David Newton; she really enjoyed his teaching and his humor. After her husband passed away and she got older, Connie struggled with walking, so she watched her church service online. She is dearly loved and will be remembered and missed by so many. Connie was lovingly received into the arms of Jesus on May 13, 2022.
