Connie was born October 7th , 1944 to Simon and Dominga Bustillos in Grand-Falls, TX.
She married Israel Carrasco on February 28, 1965. Connie lost her loving husband in 1994, but continued to persevere by serving as the backbone of her family. She was proud of every one of them and so very grateful for their love.
Her favorite pastimes were dancing, traveling, shopping, going to the game rooms and she especially treasured her Friday lunch outings with her lifelong friends. In addition, she always made sure to watch her Dallas Cowboys play. She tackled projects of all sizes with confidence and skill, transitioning from the kitchen, where she whipped up delicious meals, to working with extreme precision in the sewing room. Still, her talents extended much further as she diligently managed house repairs such as building and painting, even challenging window installations. With countless responsibilities to uphold, Connie continued to keep her family united through her servant heart.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Simon and Dominga Bustillos, husband Israel Carrasco, sister Rosa Bustillos, and brother Jose Juan Bustillos.
She is survived by her daughters Ida Hinds and husband Chris of Georgetown TX, Irma Urias and husband Hector of Odessa, TX, Irene Gonzalez and husband Harvey of Odessa, TX, Isabel Cardona and husband Alonzo of Odessa, TX, thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Connie will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Impact City Church, 914 N Texas Avenue, Odessa, TX 79761.
Connie will be laid to rest in Balmorhea Cemetery, but, she will forever live in our hearts.
