Bobbie Jean Kirby passed away on December 20, 2017 at Medical Center Hospital with her family by her side. She was 88 years old. She was born on November 15, 1929 in Marion, Kansas to Glen Lard and Vivian Eldeana Smith. She married Homer Lewis Kirby January 25, 1947 in California. They moved to Odessa with their 4 children in 1964.Bobbie is survived by one brother, Dennis Smith and wife Jane of California, sons Danny Kirby and wife Deana, and Glenn Kirby and wife Sabrina both of Odessa. Daughters Sherry Bates of Odessa, Jackie Talley and husband John of Pflugerville, TX; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Bobbie is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Homer, two sisters and one brother. Visitation will be held Friday December 22, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors in Odessa, Texas.
