After enlisting prior to his 18th birthday in June 1961, and patriotically serving his country in the USAF, Bill spent 45 years in various leadership roles in the petrochemical industry. The career achievements he cherished most were the accomplishments made by the individuals he was honored and humbled to lead. It was lovingly noted at his retirement party by his employees (to the tune of Elvis Presley), “We did it Bill’s Way”!
While really never retiring - continuing to consult into his seventies, his faith, music and golf were passions he shared with his children and grandchildren.
A Loving Spouse, Father, Grandfather and cherished sibling, he will be missed.
He is survived by his Spouse of 30 years, Cheryl Juby Trotter, his children Michael and Ally Trotter, Mark Trotter, and Craig and Rebekah Trotter, and five grandchildren; in addition to his siblings Linda Whittington, Sandra Trotter, Paul Trotter and Stephen Trotter. Bill is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Leta Trotter, and his siblings, Dolores Clark, Darl Trotter and Roger Trotter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to West Texas Gifts of Hope (The Hope House), 700 W 1st St, Odessa, TX 79761, website: westtexasgiftsofhope.org
