Maria Isabel Lozoya - Flores

Our dear loving Maria - Daughter, Wife, Mother, Sister, Loving Aunt and Friend. Born April 15, 1970 at Tri-City West Hospital in Oceanside, CA and peacefully departed us, surrounded by her family on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the age of 48 after a long tough battle with cancer at Scripps Greene Hospital La Jolla, CA.

Maria was a very dedicated hard worker whom never gave up, what a great inspiration she is to us all. She was so loving, caring with each person whether family or a friend. She also loved her pets very much… BiBi Girl, Cookie, Rico and Paquito. Maria will be missed for she was so spontaneous to have fun with whatever she chose to do whether it be camping, family barbeques, Vegas trips or simply enjoying a movie, a true free spirit. Always making time for family events. She also enjoyed cooking, dancing and always looking her absolute best.

Maria is survived by her loving parents Felipe and Irma Guzman of Temecula CA. Loving husband and soul mate of 32 years, Peter Flores and Loving son Pete Flores Jr. Loving, caring sisters, Martha Lozoya (Larry) and Irma Salazar (Jorge). Maria is also survived by many sister-in-laws and brother-in -laws, and 19 nephews and nieces and 6 great nephews and nieces in which Maria lovingly touched each one with her heart. She is also survived by many loving friends and of course her Scripps family, Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Oceanside and Cedar where she obtained the managerial position, and Scripps Coastal Carlsbad.

A viewing will be held at Eternal Hills Chapel on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4:00 PM– 8:00 PM and Celebration of Life at Eternal Hills Chapel on Saturday, March 9, at 10:00 AM with interment following.
