Jesus was born to Jesus and Ramona Chavez in 1947. In March 1964, he married the love of his life, Guadalupe Chavez. Jesus’s biggest pride and joy came from being a great father to his two children, Maria Patricia Luna and Lewis Lorenzo Chavez. Above everything. Jesus loved his children, his grandchildren, Jessie and Jessica Luna and great-grandchildren Meili Luna; Isaac and Isaiah Long.
He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Chavez; brothers Pedro and Manuel Chavez; sisters Toni Gobi, Irene Ruiz, Ramona Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Chavez; mother Ramona Chavez; brothers Nick and Arturo Chavez; sister Felicitas Ruiz Chavez; nephews; Antonio Valdez, Pedro Chavez Jr., Nick Chavez Jr; niece, Annabel “Littles” Flores.
The viewing will be held Wednesday July 20th 4:00pm-8:00pm. Eulogy will be July 21, 1pm in the Chapel of Eternal Hills Memorial Park preceding burial at 2:15pm. Eternal Hills is located at 1999 El Camino Real Oceanside CA 92054. Anyone that will like to send arrangements to Jesus Chavez, send them before July 19th to Eternal Hills in Oceanside or make a charitable donation to Jesus’s favorite charity Rady’s Children’s Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to a reception celebrating Jesus’s Life following the services. It will be at Laborers International Union located on 140 W San Marcos Blvd, San Marcos, CA 92069 from 4pm-8pm.
Jesus will always be remembered for his big heart, his love of family, friends, and the way he took care of others. His laugh, dancing moves, jokes, and his heart will be with us always.
