Frank served his country from 1943-1946, where he was on the beaches of Normandy on D-day. He was a caring, compassionate person who enjoyed life to the fullest, loved to bowl and take his daily walks. He loved sports, especially watching his beloved Chicago Cubs and Bears. He was immediately loved by anyone who met him. His infectious smile and wit will be missed by all who knew him.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Maryann Carlson of Vernon Hills, IL and Jan Morales (Rich) of Gilbert, AZ., his 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and his special love of 12 years, Dolores Klotz, of Oceanside, and her dog Corky.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Jean, his parents, brother Charles, and two sisters Bernice and Rosalie.
Visitation will be held between 4:00 and 8:00pm Sunday, April 13th, at Eternal Hills Mortuary, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054. Funeral services and Mass will be 11:00am, Monday, April 14th at St Margaret's Catholic Church, 4300 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92056.
Arrangements are under the direction of Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary, and Crematory, Oceanside, California.
