Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband, Merle L. Howard, daughters, Pamela S. Howard Parkhurst Solomon and Marijo Howard Holt;
9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was born November 17, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois and married Merle L. Howard on 12/26/1955. She graduataed from
Arizona State University in 1959 and Pepperdine University with a Master's degree in school administration in 1977.
She gave birth to a daughter, Marijo on 2/12/1958, and a daughter, Pamela Sue on 6/16/1964.
Eileen Howard was a dedicated educator in the Vista Unified School District for 34 years. She spent 17 years teaching
third, fourth, and fifth grades and the second half of her career as an elementary school principal. She opened
Mission Meadows Elementary School and then retired January 1, 1995.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Eternal Hills Oceanside on Wednesday June 26 at 1:00 pm
