Cheryl Odette Reese

Cheryl was born to William and Phyllis Hickman on August 4, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended local schools and graduated from West Tech High School in 1965. In 1970, she married David M. Reese and the couple went on to have two children. Following the birth of her second child and her husband's job transfer, they made their way out to California and settled in Oceanside in 1981.

Soon after, Cheryl went back to school and became a travel agent, a career she continued to do and love until her death. As part of her career, she became an avid traveler and traveled extensively throughout the world. In addition to traveling, she loved crafts, antiques, and most importantly being with her family.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 47 years; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Joe Letizia of Oceanside, CA; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marisa Reese of Vista, CA; and three grandchildren, Joseph Letizia, Jackson Reese, and Amelia Reese. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norma Kerg.

A memorial service and celebration of life will occur on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. at All Saints' Episcopal Church at 651 Eucalyptus Ave, Vista, California, 92084.
