Bonnie Faye Roberson

Known to her family as Bonnie, to friends as Faye, was born on a farm in Hockley Co, Texas on December 27, 1935.

Her parents were Thomas W. and Lucille E. Graham. Bonnie was the oldest of 6 children. She is survived by her brother Jimmy (Ellen) Graham, and two sisters Peggy (Joe) Holloway Bailey and Shirley (Tommy) Dunlap all from Lubbock, Texas. Preceded in death by sisters Diana Kay Parson, and Patsy Ruth Graham.

Bonnie met Dale on a blind date with Dale's sister and after dating for 6 months they married on June 5, 1954. They lived in Lubbock and Brownfield TX before moving to Escondido CA in 1964. They then moved to Carlsbad where Bonnie's career started in Banking. She worked for Security Pacific, Southwest, United States National, Crocker and retired from Wells Fargo Bank. Bonnie also worked for San Diego County Credit Union and part time for JC Penney in their cash room.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dale R. Roberson, son Roger (Susan) Roberson of Carlsbad and Debra Roberson of Oceanside. Their third child Hugh Gordon died at birth. Bonnie has three grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley), Kristopher, and Elizabeth Roberson Steele (Tyler) and 2 Great grandchildren, Reid and Everly Roberson and a third Great Grandchild due in December. Her extended family has many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie loved to read, with Westerns being her favorites. Early in her life she was on bowling leagues, she loved attending the Little League Baseball games with her son, Roger and supporting Debbie in the local Sing-Out performing group. She traveled to America Samoa, Hawaii, Washington DC. Up and down the west coast and many trips to Arizona, and Texas to visit family.
