Robert Calvin Brown, 84 of Ocala, Fl. passed away on Sunday, Aug 9 at MRMC, Robert was born in Norwalk, Conn, and moved to this area in 1997, Robert retired from the city of Norwalk from the parks and recreation dept. He was a Marine that served during the Korean War, and served with the Marine Corp League with Toys for Totsand they called him Brownie. Roberts is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years Barbara Brown, son Calvin Brown, daughter Christina Raynsford, son Thomas Brown, daughter Michele’ Towne, son Jason Brown, daughter Cynthia Keith, with 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friend at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug 14th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM all are welcome to attend. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug 15 at 11:00 AM celebrating Robert’s life. The committal service will follow with Military honors being rendered.
