Rita Mae Craig, age 90 of Coleman, Florida, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in The Villages, Florida. She was born September 26, 1926 in Lebanon, New Hampshire and moved here from Wilder, Vermont in 1977. She was a homemaker, and her number one love was her family. She had strong determination, enthusiasm for life, honest, integrity, generosity for people and standing up for the things she believed in. She had great faith in God, and showed immeasurable love to her children. She will always be our Heroine.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Craig (fiancé, Leo) of Silver Springs, FL, three sons, Wayne (Cheri) Craig of Littleton, NH, Jacque (Marti) Craig of Coleman, FL, and James (Cathy) Craig of Summerfield, FL; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wayne McLam Craig.
A private service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, Florida.
