Katherine Trapp

Kathy was born to Alexios and Argero Papalazarou in Patra, Greece on April 23, 1941. She moved to the United States in 1957 and later received a diploma in cosmetology from Joseph Paterno College of Beauty Culture. She worked as a stylist until her retirement.

Kathy was known for her hardworking nature and had a sassy and proud personality. She was full of life and loved being around people. Her adorable dogs were her constant companions, and she took them everywhere. Kathy had a passion for collecting antiques, which was a testament to her love of history and beauty.

She is survived by her daughter Athena, her son Dimitrios, her beloved grandchildren, her brother Nikolaos, and three nieces.

Kathy was a beloved person and her absence will be felt deeply by all those who knew and loved her. However, her legacy will continue on through the cherished memories she created with her loved ones, which will remain forever etched in our hearts.

Katherine's visitation is on April 22, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Marks Greek Orthodox Church, Belleview, FL. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. A committal service will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL.
