The Price family is heartbroken to announce a monumental loss in our family and community. Judy Lorayne Price, affectionately known by all as “Nana”, has passed peacefully on 2 July 2023 embraced by her family in her home in Ocala, Florida.
Nana was born on 19 March 1937 in Malone, NY. She married Theodore Price (G-dad) on 21 April 1956 and they moved together to Ocala, Florida in 1971. That same year, she began attending church at Highlands Baptist just a short way from the Price home. It was here that she became a beacon of God’s light and a personification of Jesus’ love until her final day. She permanently enhanced the lives of not only her family, but also of her community through her service to both Ward Highlands Elementary and Highlands Baptist Daycare where she worked for over 13 years. Most importantly, Nana was a friend to everyone she met. Anyone who interacted with her was warmed by her kindness, sweetness, and unique pureness of soul. She died, as she lived, surrounded by the ones she loved and the ones who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Theodore James Price.
She leaves behind: Jamie Price – Daughter, P. Ashton Whaley – Daughter, Kelly Watson- Daughter, Theodore James Price (TJ)- Son, Tyler Fox – Grandson, Michael Whaley – Grandson, Stormi Price – Granddaughter, Denver Watson – Grandson, Wyatt Watson – Grandson, Isabella Price – Granddaughter, Jaime Price – Grandson, Liam Fox – Great Grandson.
