Joseph Allen Cutler, 75, of Ocala passed away on December 14, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born to Bill & Hilda Cutler on August 29, 1944 in Miami Beach; and that is where he grew up. Bill & Hilda lovingly doted on their son and raised a good man - there was seriously nothing bad to ever say about him. He was a kind and loving man who cared greatly for his family and friends.
Joe (or as he was known in his younger years, Wimpy) after graduating from his public schooling, worked various jobs but was always a hard worker who diligently provided for his family. He met and married the love of his life, Mary West, and they were together for almost 50 years. Together they had one daughter, Lisa and these two women became his entire world -- right up until the grandchildren came along. Joe was devoted and dedicated to his family entirely.
Joe was an avid motorcycle racer in his younger days, and loved 'speed' in general - motor races in particular, NASCAR was often on in his home. He loved to fish, he would take his family or his employees on trips to go fishing and enjoyed teaching them this skill. He enjoyed bowling, spending years in a bowling league alongside Mary. His claim to bowling fame was his perfect 300 he bowled. If you paid a visit to Joe, you could not leave his home without sampling some of his delicious homemade wine.
Joe truly loved his wife, Mary. He lived every moment to help her, to take care of her, to provide for her. In his waning years as he fell ill and struggled to recover, she returned the favor in kind. They were made for each other and are perfect fits forever.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter Lisa; and four grandchildren - Emily, Jered, Joseph, and Dylan. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He also leaves to his memory many friends, former employees, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Leon.
