John Allen Sharp went home to be with his Lord Thursday, August 18, 2011. He was born October 12, 1940 in Rahway, NJ and lived a full life. To celebrate his life, John leaves his two daughters, Lynnea Warren (Donald) and Kelly Sharp of Indiana. Grandchildren Megan, Carissa, and Michael Warren and his sister, Lois Connelly (Robert) and brother, Donald (Kathryn) Sharp of Ocala will miss him. John served his country in the Marine Corps from 1961 to 1967 and then was employed in the computer divisions of Motorola and General Electric. He also worked for Res-Net in Largo for a number of years. The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 21 from 6 pm to 9 pm with a funeral service at 8 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Ave, Ocala. Internment will be Monday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. at The Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of Marion County.
