Gregoria Sanchez Rojas

Gregoria, affectionately known as Jenny to all that knew her, loved her large family and was a dedicated wife and mother. In her younger years she was a Beautician, but her main passion was being a stay-at-home mom.

She was the former First Lady of Aposento Alto Church in Ocklawaha with her beloved husband of 44 years, Ernesto Rojas. They were members of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Ocala. Jenny enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking and taught these skills to her girls.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Arsenio Sanchez, Jr., Francisca Melendez, Raul Sanchez, Carmelo Sanchez and Francisco Sanchez.

Gregoria is survived by her husband, Ernesto Rojas; children, Ilian Perez, Carlos Negron, Andres Garrastequi (Johaira), Linette Acevedo (Erica), Gisela Rojas (Julio), Ernesto Rojas, Jr. (Mairim) and Pablo Flores (Marissa).

Jenny is also survived by her siblings, Demetrio Sanchez, Irma Claudio, Clara Sanchez, Pedro Sanchez, Milagros Sanchez, Maria Diaz and Iris Diaz; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Jenny will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Her final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL.
