Dorothy was born in Milford, CT on October 14th, 1928 to parents Ernest Michael and Edith Saxton Michael. After graduating from school she worked as a hairdresser. She married Edgar Webber in 1954, and together they moved to Florida to raise their family. In 1980 they moved to Ocala where she fell in love with the natural beauty of the land and the friendly spirit of the people after an adventure there with her daughter Edie.
Dorothy had a kind and giving heart. She made her family proud with her generous nature, her giving spirit, and the joy she brought to every life she touched. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she was dedicated to helping raise funds to provide for children at need. She was a volunteer for many area nursing homes. Her kindness will not be forgotten.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Michael and Edith Saxton Michael; her husband, Edgar J. Webber Sr.; and a daughter, Terry Ann Webber.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Peggy (husband Ed) Taylor, Edie (wife Susan) Webber, Edgar J. (wife Colleen) Webber Jr, Debbie (husband Pat) Foley, and Cindy (husband Scott) Teeter. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Steve, Kim, Dody, Justin, Jessica, Travis, Matthew, Heather, Zackary, Rosalie, and Joseph; her great-grandchildren Jonathan, Katelyn, Erin, Meredith, John, Jaxson, Xander, and Colt.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 17th, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Family will gather at 10am, and services will start at 11am.
