Charles L. Walker, 88, of Belleview, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Estelle’s House in Ocala. He moved to this area in 1968 from Southern Illinois where he had owned a retail grocery store and a wholesale produce business. Charles and his wife Wanda then owned and operated Walker’s Supertest in Belleview for over 30 years. He loved to fish, travel and read. Charles was preceded in death by his daughters, Michelle Talavera and Charlene Miller, and a granddaughter, Carrie Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Wanda Walker, his children, Brenda D’Arville, Dale Walker and Glenn Walker and wife Kathy, his grandchildren, Cynthia, Brandon, Adam, Rachel, and Christy, five great-grandchildren and many, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be on Saturday, September 21, 2013, 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL 34480. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Hospice of Marion County 352-873-7400 in his name.
