Eddie Darryl King

A public viewing was held Thursday February 29, 2024 at C.P. Bannon. Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM, services were held at Acts Full Gospel Church , Burial was at Rolling Hills Memorial.

Eddie was born to Eddie and Betty King in San Francisco, later they relocated to the bay area area where he was raised. He attended Oakland High school and after graduating he joined the National Guard and served for 2 yrs.

Accepting Christ at an early age he united with Acts Full Gospel Church where he was a faithful and dedicated servant.

He did not allow his handicap hinder him from enjoying his love of fishing, sports and listening to old school music. Returning to college he obtained his AA degree to pursue his dream of becoming a social worker.

He was the proud father of Eddie King Jr. who he pushed to be and do his best in life.

He is preceded by his parents, Aunt Mother Barbara Brown, Uncle Elder Arthur Ransburg and his sister Denise King.

To cherish his memories are sons: Javon and Jafar, sister: Shaunte, 4 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Eddie Darryl King will truly be missed.
