Born in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood, Tami graduated from Bogan High School and studied Court Reporting at McCormick Junior College before beginning a long career as a legal secretary. She worked for several law firms, all located in Chicago’s Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), most recently at Tucker Ellis Law Firm.
Tami had a contagious smile, and would always light up a room. She was the life of the party and would always make her presence known. We will especially miss her (occasionally inappropriate) sense of humor.
Devoted mother of Cory Michael Jackiewicz, Ashley Stasha Jaskiewicz (Zachary) Quinn, and Britany Joanne (Patricio) Flores. Adoring grandmother (“Gram”) of Brycen Michael Quinn, Macie Rae Quinn, Sophia Aleaha Flores, and Christian Michael Flores.
Preceded in death by parents Francis “Frank” Galovich and Joanne Cholke Galovich.
Sister, cousin, and friend of many.
