Rosalie M. Gershmel, age 93, of St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville, IL, passed peacefully on August 1, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph for 57 years; loving mother of Lana (the late Michael) Nile and Jackie (Les) Pierce; cherished grandma of Steven (Nancy) Nile and Rachael Jones and Matt (Gina) Pierce and Sarah (Jeff) Muntz; adored great-grandma of Nicholas, Kelsey, Jack, Conner, Charlie, Anna Mae, Holly, and Mary Kate; dear sister of 12 and aunt to many. Interment will be private. Arrangements under the direction of Chapel Hill Gardens West.
