Michael J. O’Grady, age 91, formerly of Oak Lawn, at rest March 1, 2022. Beloved husband for 44 years of Lorey. Loving father of Michael (Kathleen), Terry (Kelley Ragland), Colleen O’Grady, and Mary (John) Sabatino. Cherished grandfather of Katelyn (Mike), Maggie, Michael, Erin, Brittney (Andy), Brooke, Rosie, Bella, Brianna, Jack, and Bridget. Fond brother of James (Judy) and the late Robert (Barbara). Many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael was employed at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District for 38 years as a Chief Operating Engineer and an alumnus of St. Rita of Cascia High School. He was a proud member of the St. Linus Church choir and a long time alumnus of St. Linus’s Way off Broadway.
Visitation Saturday March 12 from 9AM to 10:30 AM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W. 103rd. St., Oak Lawn. Funeral Mass 11 AM Saturday March 12 at St. Linus Catholic Church 10300 Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
