Lois E Gibbs

Lois E. Gibbs was born on November 9, 1954 and passed away on March 23, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George H. Gibbs. Dearest sister to Richard Huscher. Step-mother to Scott (Jennifer) Gibbs. Loving grandmother to Zachary and Jessica Gibbs. Godmother to Derrick Hengstebeck. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella Huscher and brother Robert W. Huscher. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loving friend to many, especially long-time friends Debra Hengstebeck and Cindy May.

Lois enjoyed traveling and had reached her goal of visiting all 50 states. She also enjoyed going to the theatre with friends and family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 12:00 noon at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Avenue in Oak Lawn, IL. Interment following at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your charity of choice or to St. Mark Lutheran Church in Worth, Illinois.
