June Pauline Bonk, nee Cygan, age 86, beloved wife of the late Donald J. Bonk. Loving mother of Linda (Michael) Pula, Gary (Deb) Bonk, Christopher (Cathy) Bonk, Cynthia (late Michael) Plante, Sandra (William) Lindberg; SUPER Busia of Victoria Pula (Christopher) Ranallo, Elizabeth Pula (Sara Cochennet), Christopher Bonk, Jonathan Bonk, Matthew Bonk, Cassidy Bonk, Kristyn Bonk, Ashley Bonk, Gabrielle Lindberg, Thomas Lindberg, Sarah Lindberg; great-grandmother of Kinsley Ranallo; dearest sister of the late Walter (Sharon) Cygan, the late Lawrence (late Christina) Pat Cygan and Phillip (Darlene) Cygan; sister-in-law of the late Lorraine (late James) Chizewski, Thomas (Shirley) Bonk; aunt of many.

She selflessly took care of her family before herself by baking delicious cakes and cookies and preparing holiday and celebration feasts, and attending to her late husband during his long battle with diabetes. A voracious reader of romance novels often finishing a book per day, her loyalty to the Bears was unwaivering. Fondly referred to as Lucky June, she enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets and slot machines. She loved getting calls from her family and especially her cousin, sister-in-law, and best friend Shirley.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for June that will be held Sunday, July 30th from 4pm - 8pm at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois. Funeral prayers on Monday at 10:30am from the funeral home to St. Terrence Church for Mass at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
