Mr. Wozniak this Mike Duncan. I never told u or I really never told anybody until recently that ive never wanted to b like anybody but u. U are my role model in many ways!! I always wanted to b like u. I kept it to myself because couldnt nobody take that from me. But im pretty sure u know now. And im still working on attempting to be at least 10% of the man u are. Ur one of a kind. Im HONORED TO HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO MEET YOU. ITS TRULY A HONOR. I can go on but ur already up there in HEAVEN so i know u already know. John and I meet at the 7-Eleven we became good friends over drinking coffee and talkin about The Facts of Life and about sports. He would always refer to me as sir but when he asked about me he would ask about Charley. I will miss you my friend rest in peace John Michael. I am praying for your family to be strong and keep the faith

I’ll always remember John as the kind of guy that would always have your back. A true gentleman who will be missed by all who had the pleasure and honor of knowing him and a man who left this life way too soon.....Rest In Peace Sir.

My condolences to all of the family. My friend Nicholi always spoke highly of his dad’s love, example and generosity as a father. I was privileged to meet John once at Nicholi and Anne’s wedding several years ago. He was a first class gentlemen and very kind to me and my wife. I know his great characteristics will live on through his kids and grand kids. My heart and prayers are for them as they mourn. Gods comfort and blessings 

John, and I, were in the Police Academy together, he was a very kind and compassionate man, he will be missed by many..

I met John in the 12th District many years ago.  He was one hell of a cop and one of the most considerate people I ever met.  John was a true gentleman always willing to be there for others.  Another great loss to this world of a good person.  God Bless...

I worked with John in the Narcotics Section of CPD.  Great guy and great police officer.  John was liked and respected by everyone in the unit.  Sorry to hear of his passing.  Prayers for John and his family.
