Helen D Gallagher

Helen D. Gallagher nee Norton, age 75, of Alsip, passed away on February 28, 2023. Loving wife of over 51 years to the late Martin Gallagher; Beloved mother to Jennifer Gallagher, Timothy (Sarah) Gallagher, Katie (Jay) Hardenbergh, and Matthew (Melissa) Gallagher; Cherished grandma to Sydney and Charlie Hardenbergh; Dear sister to Nancy (Norm) Brunner; Proud aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Helen spent her professional career as paraprofessional for many years in Palos Heights school district 128, and before that at Evergreen Park High School. She was very active at St. Terrance Church in Alsip. She taught CCD, sang in the choir, performed in the bell choir, and was an eucharistic minister. She was involved with Boy Scout Troop 780 as the treasurer and ran the religious emblem program.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL) Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, with 10:00 A.M. prayers from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home to St. Terrence Catholic Church (4300 W 119th Pl, Alsip, IL), Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
