Ann K Burklund

Ann Burklund nee Klein, age 91, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2019. Ann was born on July 17, 1928 in Chicago. She spent her entire life in the Chicago area. She was the loving of wife for 60 years to the late Melvin Burklund. Ann and Mel loved to travel together, especially to Rhinelander and Door County with family.

Ann was mother to the late Robert (Lee) Burklund and is survived by her daughter Linda (Randall) Ytterberg. She was a loving grandmother to Scott (Mary) Burklund, Ryan (Kaitlyn) Ytterberg, Amanda (Derek) Budd and Erik (Michaela) Burklund; and great-grandmother to Evelyn, Hayes, Rowan, Mia and Lillian. She is survived by her brother John (Sara) Klein and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 West McCarthy Road, Palos Heights, IL followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL. In lieu of flowers, please consider donation to Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd or Journey Care.
