Ralph Eric Schaber

He was born in Chicago, IL on March, 23rd, 1929 and received his BA from UCLA, MBA from University of Hawaii, and an MS in Accounting from Golden Gate University.

He was married to Patricia Slayton Schaber for over fifty years.

Ralph was a career Naval Officer, retiring as Commander. His second career was in Finance, serving Marin County. He was a member of Presbyterian Church of Novato, SIRS Branch 68, Vallejo Yacht Club, and was past commodore of North Bay Yacht Club.

Ralph was an avid reader, and a scholar of American History. In addition to boating he also enjoyed SF Giants baseball, and gardening.

Ralph is survived by his devoted wife Patty, and beloved daughter Joy.

Services for Mr. Schaber will include a Visitation at Keaton’s Redwood Chapel of Marin at 1801 Novato Blvd, Novato, CA on November 1st, 2016 from 2pm until 5pm, with a prayer service at 4:30pm. A Graveside Service will be held 10am November 5th at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Ln, Novato, CA. The Memorial Service will be at the Presbyterian Church of Novato, 710 Wilson Ave, Novato, CA, at 2pm with a reception to follow. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Novato, or to the Navy Relief Society. Services have been entrusted to Keaton’s Redwood Chapel of Marin.
