Warren H. “Lefty” Merling, age 101, of Ocean City, MD, passed away on December 14, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan G. Merling (nee Miskimon); devoted father of Sharon M. Stewart and her husband John, David M. Hartman and his wife Marie, Wayne A. Hartman and his wife Sharon, the late Patricia Ann Andrews and her late husband Don, the late Richard G. Merling, and the late Gary Hartman; loving grandfather of Gregory J. Andrews, Donald W. Andrews, Scott A. Andrews, Michelle Parson, Alyson P. Hartman, Ryan D. Hartman, Trent A. Hartman, and Lauren M. Hartman; dear brother of the late Sophie Druery, the late Ruth Chambers, and the late Theresa Druery . Also survived by many cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 9:30AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
