So sorry for your loss. Steve was one of a kind and I enjoyed time playing in the band with him and getting to work some with him. Praying you keep memories of him alive with you until the day you meet up with him.

We had good time exploring Mt Carmel in Israel in 1996.

To my friend Cindi and family, it was my pleasure to have gotten to know how special, intelligent and curious Steve was.     He enjoyed his many adventures and loved sharing his stories and treasures to anyone who would listen.  I admired the person I got to know and will miss him very much.

We stopped in Venice for New Year's 1995-1996. Good times.

Spent some time touring  when our ship pulled into  Haifa in 1996.

What a wonderful kind man. May you rest in peace. I know you you and Ed and doing a shot!

I loved interviewing Steve and writing his stories. He’d call me from the field when something happened and I’d always include his stories in The INK, our company newsletter. 

The only thing that makes me happy about the news of Steve’s death is that he’s pain free and in a better place. The last words my husband said to me nine years ago were, “I’m alright.” That makes me believe that he and Steve are in heaven and suffering no more.

Cindi, my condolences. Only those who have lost a spouse know how it feels. As time moves on, the pain will be less intense. I promise. I’d be happy to meet you some time if you’d like to talk.
