Ruth Canatella Martin

On December 27, 2021, Ruth Canatella Martin, age 100, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Martin, Jr.; devoted mother of Eric Robert Martin and his wife Barbara, and LTC Paul Richard Martin USA, Ret. and his wife Karen; loving grandmother of Christina Zehr and her husband Daniel, Matthew Martin and his wife Katie, Daniel Martin and his wife Noelle, David Martin and his wife Ashley, Brian Martin and his wife Ashley, Christopher Martin, Patrick Martin, and the late Paul Martin, Jr.; cherished great grandmother of Ayren, Noah, Eli, Owen, Maddox, Jace, Gia, Callie, Luca, and Tessa with one on the way. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Muriel, and Jack Canatella and their late wives.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Oak Crest Village Chapel, 8820 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 12-1 PM, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will begin. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. Masks are required at all times while at Oak Crest Village. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth’s name to the Oak Crest Benevolent Care Fund, 8800 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234.
