Suddenly on May 14, 2011, Michael Gately ,beloved husband of Linda L. Gately (Nee Mosmiller), devoted father of Michelle Lynn Naill and her husband Randy; Pop-Pop of Elyssa Marie Naill; son of the late Ann Sartori and Charles Gately; stepson of the late Pete Sartori; best friend to Don Keller, wonderful brother in law to Joyce (Laszlo), Wayne (Carol), Gayle (Steve) and Kent (Alex) and the late Donna and Joseph Noz; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Michael served in the Navy from 1967-1970, received his masters degree from the University of Maryland, worked in Human Resources for Koppers United Contant, Vulcan & LaFarge Company.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Road (at Forge Road) on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am with a gathering to follow. Interment: Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Hospital
