Patricia R John Koch, 77, of Charlotte, NC formerly of Baltimore, Md and Newark, DE went to her heavenly home on August 17, 2012 after a brief illness. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Saunders (Scott) of Charlotte, NC and Valerie Hare (Jim) of Summerville, SC, five grandchildren, Ryan Saunders (Alicia) and, Jordyn Saunders of Charlotte, NC and Hilary Saunders Schaefer (Brad) of Raleigh, NC, and Jillian Hare Culp (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC and Taylor Hare of Summerville, SC. Also, one great granddaughter, Savannah Saunders. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Dr Andrew John, her parents Alvin and Mary McVey, and her brother Al McVey.
Services will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD on Saturday August 25 at 10:30 am. Interment at Gardens of Faith Cemetary, 5598 Trump Mill Rd, Baltimore, Md . In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to The Charlotte Rescue Mission, "Dove's Nest" for women, P.O. box 33000, Charlotte, NC 28233.
