I want to extend my thanks and appreciation for my family and especially on behalf of my Dad to all of you who have left condolences or rememberances of Mom on this site.  Mom never sought the spotlight or accolades for anything she did so the outpouring of love, support and affection shown for Mom has overwhelmed us. To us she was just Mom. We knew she was the greatest but did not know until her death how that attitude was shared by so many outside the immediate family. I will never be able to thank all of you enough for what you have said or done following our loss but did at least want everyone to know their thoughts and efforts on behalf of Dad and family are greatly appreciated. I am so sorry to here of Ms Pat's death.  She was always so nice to me when I was a kid.  I just so happened to read the paper on February 27th.  If my family and I would have known we would have paid our respects to you all.  She will be greatly missed.  Always keep her in your thoughts.  she will always be there with you. Jerry and Pat are two of the nicest people one could know. Both have contributed so much to the Perry Hall community. Our sympathy and prayers are with you.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Soukup, Tom, Jerry, MIke and their families. We will always remember Mrs. Soukup opening her home to Tom's college buddies, attending Penn football games, going on fishing expeditions, tending her garden, and making shrimp with Old Bay. She was a wonderful person. We will miss her.

Although I did not know Mrs. Soukup personally, I attended Perry Hall High School with her sons.  In reading all of the condolences, I see that she was a wonderful and well-respected woman.  I wish that I would have had the pleasure of meeting her.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the passing of such an extraordinary person.

I am truly sorry to learn of Pat's passing....she and her husand Jerry were an incredible team for our recreation and parks program in Perry Hall.  God bless her and her family.

I am at a loss for words for expressing my grief at this event. I "came of age" in Perry Hall, and "Miss Pat" was the godmother of all the boys who "hung out

Dear Mr. Jerry,  We are very sorry to hear about your loss.  You and Mrs. Pat have been a couple to admire.  You both are very selfless people.  You give of your hearts and souls to the whole community.  Our community is the better because of the two of you. Thank you both for your caring and sharing of yourselves with us. As adults raising our children in the Perry Hall Community was a benefit to them do the the council being very strong because of people like you both. My family has known the Soukups for longer than I can remember.  Mr. Jerry and my Dad shared a passion for the Rec Council and I cannot remember a day at the fields with my father when  Mr. Jerry and Ms. Pat were not there.  They were great friends to my parents and to many.  I often drove Ms. Pat home on Tuesday nights after she and Mom bowled at Perry Hall Lanes and my Mom always said "Ms. Pat is a woman who can do anything, deep fry her own turkey on Thanksgiving and repair her own washing machine".  I know Mr. Jerry and the boys will miss her so - my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to each of you.  She was a special lady!

I met the Soukups when I started coaching at the rec. I was seventeen, Mr. Jerry gave me a chance to coach when everybody else was saying he's to young... Over the years I have logged many of great experiences with both  Pat and Jerry. My prayers to all of the family.

Pat and Jerry have been my next door neighbors for 20 years.  Frank and I consider ourselves to be very lucky to have lived next door to the nicest lady I have ever known.  We will miss her more than I can say.  Our condolences to Jerry who we also love very much and their family. My family moved to Perry Hall in the mid 60's and being a kid that loved sports you had to know Miss Pat and Mr Jerry. My dad was always down the rec with Mr Jerry and Miss Pat was always maning the concession stand at all games. My mom and Miss Pat were on the same bowling team for many years. The Soukups are Perry Hall Rec Icons and Miss Pat will definitely be missed. Our condolences to Mister Jerry, Jerry, Mike and Tom and their familys.

What a wonderful person and special family! We met when I dated their son in 1981, for 5 years, and have remained friends since. I have fond memories of vacations and spending time with the entire family. I am grateful and honored to call Ms. Pat and Mr. Jerry my friends. They are like another set of parents to me. Miss Pat taught me how to dive at the Perry Hall Swim Club. I taught my children the same way she did so many years ago. I last saw her & Mr. Jerry in September at my grandmothers 90th B-Day party. When I think of Perry Hall - I think of Miss Pat. My thoughts & prayer are with your family.
