I grew up with Mike on Inglewood Road in Parkville. He was always happy and fun to be around. I missed the Kelly family very much when they moved to Fallston and had not seen Mike for over 35 years. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his wife, daughter and the entire Kelly family. God bless.

Hanging out eons ago with his sister, Judy, I loved watching Mike and his band Apricott Brandy practicing in the basement.  He was so cool ... and such a good guy.  Wonderful photos of a loving family.  My heart goes out to all of you.

Big Mike, it is a pleasure to have known you.  Every time I was around you and your family, you always made me feel so welcome-like I was a part of the Kelly family. 

Whenever we spoke, you were always so kind and caring, asking me about my job and parents.  I enjoyed talking with you about my career and you were always very encouraging of me. It meant a lot that you, your parents and Aunt Karen came to my going away party, I will never forget that. You have the biggest heart out of any Dad I know, and that caring trait of yours I see in Jocelyn.

One of my favorite memories is when my dad (Big Don) , you, Jocelyn and myself went up to the diner for breakfast. We had such a great time that day, I recorded the infamous borat video at the diner of Jocey doing her impressions.

I'll also never forget all the Lightning trips.  You and my Dad became buddies as we all spent time together. My dad loves you like a brother and he enjoyed watching any sports games on TV with you while we were away at tournaments.

I have many fond memories of going up to the pool with Jocelyn and hanging out with you all, and again, I felt apart of your family.  Pops making the bushwackers for everyone and just enjoying everybody's company. Last summer it was a blast when we had the guitar up there and we all sang and played music.

I consider Jocelyn a sister, the sister I never had. And I will be there for her during this difficult time. You and Rita raised an amazing person in Jocelyn, and there's a lot to be said about you for shaping her into the wonderful person she is today.

You will be missed Mike, but we all will remember you forever. God bless you for being such a kind, heart warming, selfless, fun loving individual.  You are the definition of a great man.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  I worked with him the past several years on our Umbrella work and had the opportunity to meet him in person when he visited Los Angeles.  He always was so kind, generous, and helpful.  And he could slice & dice data any way you needed it!  He was an awesome work partner.  I will miss him.  Prayers to his wife and daughter and family.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I used to work with Mike and was a Revolution groupie because of Mike. Such a nice guy and family man. My prayers to Mikes family. So sorry.

Mike will be surely missed in the little town of Old Fallston. It seemed like every day he ran by with a wave and a smile. I'd roll down my window if passing him and we both give a shout, more smiles.  Really, I don't remember a time he wasn't smiling in all the years I've known him. And that's not because his life was easy. It will be a blessing for me to always have that memory, looking down Laurel Brook Rd on my way home. He was a great person. Unusually great.

Mike was a wonderful young man, husband, and father. He will be greatly missed. Our love and God's blessings to all those loved ones left behind .

Mike was a wonderful husband and caregiver to his lovely wife, Rita.  I had an opportunity to be Rita's visiting nurse for many years and witnessed first hand the love he had for her.  He will be missed by all so very much.
