Maria Matilde Gaztanaga

Maria Matilde Valentina Teresita Del Infante Jesus Pendas Pestana de Gaztanaga 7/25/29, Havana Cuba-1/5/19, Baltimore Md. USA. Mother, Retail professional, Import/Export clerk. Graduate of College of Havana(instituto) Letters Degree. Preceded in death by her son Pedro, her mother Petra and father Angel. Survived by her son Lorenzo, daughter in law Susan and many loving family members and friends. Died in the Peace of Christ after two months of loving care at Manor Care Rossville, Baltimore Co. with Heartland Hospice. Maria was brave, she left Cuba on October 21, 1961 with her 11 year old and 12 year old sons and mother arriving in Miami, FL that afternoon. In June of 1963 she moved her family to Baltimore to be in proximity with other family members. She faced tremendous challenges and succeeded. Rest In Peace Mi Mamita Querida Love you as you always deserved. Miss you.
