Joyce Mae Wooden (nee Martin), age 83, of Berlin, MD passed away on February 10, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Thomas S. Wooden, Sr.; devoted mother of Thomas S. Wooden, Jr. and his wife Tracey, and Christopher S. Wooden; loving grandmother of Julianna and Olivia Wooden; dear sister of Metta Wagner, Richard Martin, and Dorothy Losover. Joyce was predeceased by four siblings.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce’s name to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org
