I went to Syracuse with Ian.  He was such a fun and good natured guy. I was watching horse racing today and reminded me of him. I decided to try and look him up and found this. I'm shocked and saddened by the news. My sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.

I have just now learned of this terrible, terrible loss.  I and my family are devestated.  Few people anywhere have so brightened all our lives as Ian, and and the wonderful Mulholland family.
     My heart, our hearts are broken.  Our hands reach out in shared sadness to touch and hold yours.  We thank God for the moments we did have with Ian.   Janet, Mike, Kate, Mike, Rita, Kristen, the children... We send you all our friendship and love in this terrible time.

To the Mulholland family,  I'm praying for God's comfort and peace for you during this difficult time.  Ian was my largest vendor.  I worked with him over 11 years.  He was always upbeat and handled our account with the best of care.  I'm going to miss laughing and joking with him.

So sorry to hear this news.  While I graduated a few years ahead of Ian, I have a lot of fond memories of him at Saratoga and during his first year at Syracuse.  He was one of the kindest and friendliest people I've met and in the time I knew him, he certainly made the world a better place for others.  I'm sure his spirit will live on with his children and my condolences go out to the whole Mulholland family.  My Mom and I were sharing memories this morning and were saddened by this news, but the memories still bring a smile to my face.  That is how I'll remember Ian... he always made you smile.

It came with great sadness that we learned of Ian's passing & express our deepest condolences to everyone. We knew Ian from HS as our son was great friends with Ian & on same cross country team as well. I have memories of Ian & Greg running after schl & stopping by my office to get sips of water, then continuing on with their work-outs. Ian made a very special gift to Greg after our son passed away & its still @Greg's resting place from the day Ian put it there. Sister Katie graduated a year after Ian along with our Greg. Ian came from a wonderful family & was a very respectful, decent young man. Ian & Kristin made a surprise visit to our home with their little boy Michael at that time & it was so good to see one of Greg's friends & teammate once again. He was very thoughtful like that. Ian's passing will be a hugh loss to everyone he knew in life, especially his sweet wife & children. Our hearts & prayers go out to everyone in the Mulholland fam. along with friends & loved ones as well. As each of you mourn the loss of your beloved Ian, remember he is now resting in God's eternal home. May the peace & love of Christ be with you all.
