On May 30, 2024, Frances Elsie Hopkins, passed away. Frances is the beloved wife of the late Calvin C. Hopkins; devoted mother of Karen Melnyk and husband Pete, David Hopkins, Kathleen Hopkins, Matthew Hopkins, and the late Michael Hopkins; loving grandmother of Jacalyn, Melissa, Heather, Jessica, David, Jr., and Rachel. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 2 - 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Church (Rosedale), 1212 Chesaco Ave., Rosedale MD 21237, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
