On June 27, 2024 Betty Lou Walsh (nee Bromwell) passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Walsh, Jr.; devoted mother of Nora Kellner and her husband Ron, Vicki Wesolowski and her husband David, John Michael Walsh, III and his wife Denise, Kathy Walsh, Kelly Loehmer and her husband Mike, Colleen Hyde and her husband Brian, and Tammy Dye and her husband Eric; cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and their spouses, and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Nora Bromwell and her siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton). Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Betty Lou’s name to the ALS Association, Patient Services, 30 W. Gude Dr, Rockville, MD 20850.
