On September 7, 2022, Anthony Nicholas Schramm, age 93, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Dolores M. Schramm (nee Parr); devoted father of Tony Schramm and his wife Mary, Kathy Brooks and her husband Richard, Paul Schramm and his wife Diane Hilton, and the late Diane Schramm; loving grandfather of Rick Brooks and his wife Kerri, Danielle Schramm (Ray), Jessica Diffenderfer and her husband Mike, Madison Schramm, Jordan Brooks, and Jack Schramm; cherished great grandfather of Austin, Ava, Alexandra, Ryleigh, and Kaden; dear brother of the late Bernard Schramm, Jr. and his late wife Florence, the late Joseph Schramm and his late wife Sarah, and the late Mary Ann O’Donnell and her late husband Phil. Also survived by his son-in-law John Brooks, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 4-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 11 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton, MD). Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anthony’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org, or to Gilchrist Hospice at www.gilchristcares.com.
