Robert L. Critchley, of Norwood passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2024 at age 80.
Born in Yea Victoria, Australia, he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Vick) Critchley. Robert served with the Australian Navy during the Vietnam War. He was the proprietor of The Shearing Shed in Brookline, MA for many years.
Robert was the beloved husband of Harriet S. (Smith) Critchley of Norwood, and the devoted father of Robert H. Critchley of Tampa Florida. He was the brother of Ron Critchley and his wife Monika, the late Patricia Arbuckle and her late husband Patrick, and Ray Critchley, all of Australia, and the brother in-law of Joanne Goode, Michael Smith, George Smith, and the late Janet Smith. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, to whom he was a favorite uncle thanks to his sense of humor.
A Visitation will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 2-4 PM.
