Of Norwood, formerly of Roslindale, died with family by his side on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Clare (Matthews) of Norwood, his daughters Karen Mack (Bill) of Marshfield, Michelle McSweeney Knutson (Paul) of Chevy Chase, MD, and Katie Parlon (Luke) of Walpole. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Lauren Mack, Billy Mack (Carson), Kevin Mack, Dorothy Knutson, Charlie Parlon, Eddie Parlon, and James Parlon. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Rush.
Kevin grew up in Roslindale, attending St. Francis School and Boston Tech High School, and receiving his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Tufts University in 1964. He later earned his master’s in civil engineering from Northeastern University. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force in 1964 and proudly served his country for four years. He was honorably discharged as Captain in 1968 and then spent 30 years working for the EPA in Boston. He retired in 2000 and spent many happy years playing golf, visiting Florida, seeing friends, traveling with his wife, and enjoying his grandchildren.

Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11:00 AM. Visiting Hours In the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
