Diane M. Ryan

RYAN, Diane (McManus), 85, of Norwood passed away on Thursday December 19, 2024.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Simpson) McManus. Diane was a 1957 graduate of Norwood High School, and worked for over 25 years as a front end manager with Walmart in Walpole. Diane loved music and concerts, enjoyed playing trivia and word search games, and cherished dinners and celebrations with her family.

Diane was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late John P. Ryan and the devoted mother of Deborah Ryan & her husband Chris Basile of North Carolina, John Ryan & his wife Claire-Marie of Norwood, Christine Ryan of Dedham, Paul Ryan & his wife Suzanne of Norwood, and Sharon Ryan of Norwood. She was the sister of Patricia and her husband Somchai Tia of Canton, and the late Nancy Connors, and the proud grandmother of Carly, Justine, Johnny, Luke, Ben, Ronan, and Sean.

Visitation in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Saturday December 28, from 8:30-9:30 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 10 o'clock. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
