Former husband and best friend of Dianne McLaughlin of Norwood. Beloved father of Shannon O’Grady and her husband Brandon of Norwood, and Sean McLean of Dorchester and his partner Jamie Civitarese of Norwood. Loving Grampa Danny of Mackenzie O’Grady. Brother of Joseph J. McLean and his wife Trisha Casey of Roslindale, James McLean and his late wife Cathy Leonard-McLean of West Roxbury, Florence Niland and her husband Daniel of Jupiter FL, Patricia Freda and her husband James of Norwood, Paul McLean and his wife Judy of Watertown, Robert McLean and his wife Catie of Duxbury, Karen McLean of Lowell, and Gail Traylor and her husband Robert of NH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday August 2 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy’s Church, Norwood at 10. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale. Danny worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor in East Boston, and was a retired member of I.B.E.W. Local 103, Boston.
