Carlos Alberto Vazquez

Carlos was passionate about working at Boston University for 25+ years as Director of Facilities and had no intentions of retiring anytime soon because of the love he had for the job. He was a die hard fan of the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, New England Patriots and Revolution teams. He loved spending time in his backyard with his wife, planting beautiful flowers and gardening. Carlos was very determined man and completed numerous Boston Marathons. He especially loved his role as Papa and spending time with his grandchildren.

Carlos is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Suki (Yi) Vazquez; his loving daughter, Jennifer Moore, her husband Michael along with three wonderful grandchildren, Madison, Logan, and Maddox, who were the apple of his eye. He is also survived by his three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family who reside in Costa Rica. Carlos was a loving Father, Husband, Papa, and Friend to everyone.

Funeral arrangements are held through Gillooly Funeral Home. A celebration of Carlos’ life will be held at the Boston University Marsh Chapel on Saturday July 16, 2022 @ 11:00 AM with Reception to follow.
