Paul E Lunt passed away August 29, 2018 at the Backus Hospital in Norwich. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Paul was born on July 8, 1924 in East Burke, VT to Burton and Lois Lunt. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. On March 2, 1946 he married Agnes Merchant who predeceased him in 2009. Paul is survived by his six grandchildren: Lori (Candy) Lunt-Rothe, Tina (Joe) Viera, Jessica (Odir) Lunt, Becky (Kyle) Kendrick, David (Amanda) Lunt and Mary Beth (Yamil) Dip. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren: Brandon and Andrew Lukaszewski, Adrianna (Kevin) Stockwell, Hazel and Anthony Banning, Malachi Pontes, Olivia and Kole Kendrick, David, Abigail and Addison Lunt, and Yamil Jr , Navarro and Johan Dip. In addition, he had two great great grandsons, Yadiel and Caleb, and a daughter in law, Mary Ellen Lunt. Besides his wife of 63 years, he was predeceased by his four sons: Edward, David, Paul and Jeffrey. He had five brothers who predeceased him as well: Claude, Orlin, Francis, Gordon and Howard. For most of his life, Paul worked in route sales, either as a bread man or a milkman until his retirement. Even after that, he continued to work part time cleaning offices until really retiring in 2012 at the age of 88. Paul enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or just working in the yard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held at 10 AM, on Wednesday, September 5,th at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave. in Norwich.
