Judith Tibbs Waldron

Preston-Judith (Tibbs) Waldron, age 70, of Preston, passed away on March 12, 2011 at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. She was born February 24, 1941 in Norwich to the late John and Charlene (Shorey) Tibbs. She was married to the late John F. Waldron Sr.

Judith was a Nursery School Director. She enjoyed quilting and was an active member of the Preston City Congregational Church.

She is survived by her son John Waldron Jr. and his wife Laurie of Preston, a son Todd Waldron and his girlfriend Grace of New Hampshire, and a daughter Denise Sipolski and her husband Joe of Rhode Island. She also leaves behind her loving grandsons, Jake, Derek and John Waldron and Steven and Matthew Sipolski.

Family and friends may visit Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Preston City Congregational Church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Preston City Cemetery.
